about

Featuring stunning vocal harmonies and virtuosic violin, Espiral is based on a traditional Afro-Cuban chant from Cuba's syncretic religion Santeria. The track is is an inventive fusion of Santeria forms with lyrical elements of guarija, the country music of Eastern Cuba, all backed by a powerful jazz foundation — provided by legendary Cuban jazz fusion players Roberto Riveron (Klimax, Cubanismo) and Miguel de Armas (NG La Banda) with a further injection of Cuban energy by Frank Martinez.
